11. Bray Wyatt And Bo Dallas
Here’s two young lads who clearly love christmas. Windham Rotunda and Taylor Rotunda are the sons of the legendary WWF performer I.R.S, and they are now aspiring to form their own legends as WWE superstars.
Windham is better known as Bray Wyatt. Taylor is Bo Dallas. They’ve came a long way from their christmas outfits and boyish looks. Bray in particular has proved to be an in-ring maestro, and he’ll match up with The Undertaker at WrestleMania 31. His career is already big, but it will surely get much bigger in the years to come. At 27 he’s got many years ahead in the business.
Bo Dallas has a trickier path. He came up as a star in NXT, but has failed to ignite any real interest on the main roster. It remains to be seen if he and WWE can turn it around, as right now he’s basically a non-entity jobber.

13. Gary Albright
Gary Albright was a beast of a man. Standing 6’3″ and weighing in at 350 lbs (25 stone), he won many accolades as an amateur wrestler. Starting as a college wrestler, he won state, national and then world championships in the early 1980s. After graduating from university, he begun training in professional wrestling, With such legends as Lou Thesz and Billy Robinson training him, it was no surprise that he turned out to be a solid pro, with a realistic as opposed to showy style. His first major promotion was Stu Hart’s Stampede Wrestling in Canada, where he became a tag team champion with Makhan Singh (Mike Shaw, aka Bastion Booger). They defeated no less of a team than The British Bulldogs to win the titles.
However, with a style developed by training with Thesz and Robinson, Albright eventually found his true calling: a career in Japan. The UWFI had started up and Albright arrived there in 1991. Their style was very different from western pro wrestling, presenting the matches as legitimate fights, which emphasised strikes and submissions. Albright won his first match by knockout in seven minutes. The UWFI style was made for Albright, with his fearsome size and amateur credentials. Unlike western wrestling, Albright did not need to be a showman. He just wrestled. After UWFI folded, Albright moved to All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he made one unsuccessful challenge to Mitsuharu Misawa’s Triple Crown championship in 1996.

11. Diamond Dallas Page Driving Rhythm & Blues’ Pink Cadillac – WrestleMania VI
The future three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion is a notorious late comer to the business. He spent time as a bar manager before turning his attentions to the squared circle.
Way before he stepped into a WCW ring, Dallas allegedly had a try out to become a WWE announcer, a try out he failed.
Later, at WrestleMania VI no less, DDP found himself behind the wheel of a pink Cadillac driving Rhythm and Blues to the ring.
The Honky Tonk Man, Greg Valentine and their manager Jimmy Hart debuted their new song “Honka Honka Honka Honky Love” at WWE’s showcase event.
Page was a complete unknown to WWE audiences at this time and would leave the company for Ted Turner’s organisation soon after. His long time friend Dusty Rhodes had just started booking and the rest, as they say, is history.

10. Bob Backlund
At first glance, Bob Backlund may appear a strange choice, certainly considering there was a time when he was one of the top wrestlers under WWE contract. That was the late-1970’s however, and we’re discussing Backlund’s second run with the Heavyweight gold almost 20 years later.
The irony here is delicious – WWE were in the midst of promoting their product as ‘The New WWF Generation’, lambasting previous stars such as Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan as old hat. Vince McMahon was keen to stress than his younger models, including names such as Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels, were the next big things. Younger, faster, more dynamic than their predecessors, the thought process was that the company could convince fans what WCW were doing (in essence promoting all of McMahon’s old headliners) wa
s passe.
All well and good, until you book Bob Backlund to defeat Bret Hart at the 1994 Survivor Series and bag your top title. It’s fair to say that few could have seen this one coming, and it didn’t really fit into WWE’s paradigms at the time.

8. Brock Lesnar’s First WWE Contract
When Lesnar made the jump up from OVW to the WWE’s main roster and made that impactful debut live on Raw, he was professed to be the world’s hottest free agent.
This name tag seems to have stemmed from a real life situation and Brock’s first developmental contract with the then WWF.
Jim Ross told of how when The Beast Incarnate and WWE entered into negotiations, they found an unexpected stumbling block. It turned out that Brock demanded the company sign his roommate, and fellow Minnesota amateur wrestling teammate, Shelton Benjamin.
Writing in an article for Fox Sports, Ross said: “The only catch was that we needed to also recruit and offer Brock’s Minnesota teammate, Shelton Benjamin, as well.
“Benjamin was an amazing athlete, and signing the South Carolina native was a blessing as he had a solid WWE career, arguably under-utilised in the opinion of some. Plus, he made Brock’s transition from the amateurs to the pros much easier.
“Robinson (Lesnar’s wrestling coach) knew Brock could be a challenging athlete to manage, so having Benjamin in the same training camp was a major positive in
the development of Lesnar.”
WWE obviously thought the world of the then world’s hottest free agent when they first laid eyes on him. Why else would they take the financial hit sign a relative unknown and unproved wrestler in Benjamin?

10. Batista
There are some coincidences here. The two times Batista has won the Royal Rumble, he was the 28th entrant. This is the 28th Royal Rumble in history, so the stars definitely align for a surprise return to the WWE after quitting Evolution in May of 2014.
After recently being announced as the next James Bond villain, and his success of Guardians Of The Galaxy, Batista won’t be back full time ever again as he’ll be in demand constantly in Hollywood now. The Rumble is all about cameo appearances and returns, and it would be great to see Batista in a WWE ring once again.
Speaking of being a villain, Batista would have to be one after the debacle last year of having him winning it to set up a possible Randy Orton v. Batista main event at WrestleMania 30. We all know how that story played out, so if Batista makes a surprise return at the Rumble, one should expect boo’s. Of course now that he’s Drax, he’ll probably get cheers when we’re expecting boo’s.

#10 John Morrison
Remember John Morrison and Melina from MNM? Even if the answer is no, it’s a plain old lie since it’s hard to forget that split Melina used to do before entering the ring.
However, many people wouldn’t be aware of the real life relation that these two had. They were dating back in 2012 and were charged with domestic violence. The reason for the assault was never disclosed, but there were a lot of friction between the two which later led to a breakup.
The reason, if you are wondering, was Batista. Melina was apparently having an affair with the Animal and when Morrison found out, problems started poking up in their relation. They stuck together even after that but broke up eventually.
